Predator Locator
Know who is on the registry near your family.
Public sex offender registry data, plotted on a map around you. See how many are nearby, where they live, and what they were convicted of, without digging through a dozen county websites.
Requires iOS 17 or later. Location is used only while the app is open.
Built to answer one question fast
Who is on the registry around here, and what should I know about them?
Map view
Every registered address in view, marked on a dark map. Pan and the map reloads for wherever you are looking.
Nearby list
A roster of who is around you, sorted by distance, so you can see the count at a glance instead of counting pins.
Full profiles
Photo, known aliases, date of birth, conviction detail and the registered address, pulled straight from the public record.
Search by name
Check a specific person: a new neighbor, a babysitter, a coach, anyone you want to look up by name.
Alerts
Keep an eye on the areas that matter to you, like home, school or a relative's street.
No account needed
No sign-up, no email, no profile. Open the app and it works. Your searches stay on your device.
How it works
Three taps from install to a clear picture of your block.
-
Allow location
The app asks for your location once, while it is open, to centre the map on you. You can skip it and search an area manually.
-
See the map
Registered addresses within the visible area appear as markers, with a running count of how many are nearby.
-
Open a profile
Tap any marker for the full public record: photo, aliases, conviction and registered address on a map.
The whole neighborhood at once
Registry sites make you search one address at a time. This shows the area in a single view, then lets you drill into anyone on it.
- Live radius search that follows the map as you move it.
- Distance from you on every entry, down to a tenth of a mile.
- Open in Maps to see the registered address in context.
- Names and distances are free. A subscription unlocks photos, offense detail and addresses.
About the data
Information in the app comes from public sex offender registries published by government agencies. It is presented as received and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A listing does not mean a person currently lives at that address, and the absence of a listing does not mean an area is safe. Always confirm anything important against the official state or county registry.
This app is an information tool only. It is not a background check and must not be used to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, tenancy or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Using registry information to harass, threaten, intimidate or injure anyone is a crime in every state. Accounts and access may be terminated for it, and it may be reported to law enforcement.
